So I found this site: POLYVORE– basically it’s this really cool site where you style outfits and publish “sets”. It’s a great site if you dream of becoming a stylist. You can choose from a plethora of clothing, accessories, and even backgrounds which are linked to the actual site it came from. Personally, I find this website to be a valuable resource for people like me who want to gain more knowledge about the products and labels out there and learning how to style outfits and force myself to be creative and try and think outside the box. In the end, it’s all about practice making perfect- each time I style an outfit, I am gaining more knowledge about what is what, who makes what, etc etc. You get the gist.
Anyway, I discovered that Polyvore users can also create groups and contests. I recently submitted a set for one group M.A. J.O.R. The theme of the contest is “Model Style”- you pick out a picture of your favorite model and create a set inspired by the picture/model.
Here is my entry:
Haha. I am still working on layouts and stuff… but I kind of like my outfit. Do you?
